Thalaivaa movie preview

Thalaivaa deals with the story of a musician who later turns as the rescuer of the Tamil speaking people in Mumbai.

Thalaivaa has Vijay, Amala Paul, Sathya Raj, Santhanam, Ragini Nandwani, Rajiv Pillai and Abhimanyu Singh in the lead roles.
Vijay plays the role of musician, who later becomes the leader of Tamil speaking people in Mumbai.

Amala Paul plays the love interest of Vijay. Sathya Raj is all set to lock horns with Ilayathalapathy in the movie.

Thalaivaa is directed by AL Vijay, and GV Prakash has scored the music. The action entertainer of the year, has the stunt direction by Stunt Siva and is expected to break all the previous records of Vijay movies. Initially, Thalaivaa was certified U/A by the censor board, which was not accepted by the crew. Later, the movie went in front of revising committee.

On August 2, the committee certified U, for the movie with major cuts. The introduction song of the movie, ‘Thalaivaa thalaivaa’ was shot in Mumbai with nearly 500 junior artistes. Few part of the movie is shot in Chennai and overseas countries like, Australia, Switzerland and New South Wales. Thalaivaa started its shoot on November 16, 2012 and wrapped up in April 2013. The first trailer of the movie went viral on January 14, 2013.

The movie’s theatrical trailer got 1 million hits in 32 hours and 2 million hits in 10 days on YouTube after its release.

The music by GV Prakash has already impressed the listeners, and the introduction song ‘Thalaivaa thalaivaa’ will be another mass song, which is featured with the native touch. Vijay fans are curious to know what makes Vijay to turn protagonist in the movie.

It is said that, Ilayathalapathy Vijay was impressed Madraspattinam which was directed by AL Vijay and contacted director for the new project.
Initialy, Samantha and Yami Gautam  were approached for the female lead, but Amala Paul was finalised later.
